After more than 20 years of service to the community, Hope Medical Dental Clinic has a new name that better reflects our purpose of providing comprehensive and compassionate care. Our new name is rooted in total health, wellness, and love.

Hope Wellness Centerprovides high-quality medical and dental care—completely free of charge—to uninsured and medically underserved adults. We work to expand the healthcare safety net through strong partnerships and community collaboration.
Our Story: Rooted in Compassion, Powered by Community
Founded in 2004 by Dr. Vincenta Marquez and a group of Filipino physicians, the clinic began behind the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, DE. Their vision: deliver free, compassionate care to those who need it most.
Today, we continue that mission with a focus on preventive, non-emergency care. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely entirely on the support of volunteers, donors, and our community—because we believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege.

We offer a range of free, non-emergency medical and dental services to uninsured adults in Delaware—delivered with compassion, dignity, and respect.

• Testing and treatment for chronic conditions (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes)
• Testing and treatment for minor medical conditions (cold, flu, headache, sore throat)
• Medication assistance
• Laboratory services

• Routine pelvic exams
• STI screenings
• Limited gynecological cancer screening
• Colposcopy

• PAP testing

• Tooth extractions with local anesthesia only
